Do Discount Cards Work at All Pharmacies?

Most major chain pharmacies accept prescription discount cards, including CVS, Walgreens, Publix, Winn-Dixie and Walmart. However, the discounted price varies from pharmacy to pharmacy^{1, 2}, so a card might save more at one store than another. Always compare the price at a few nearby pharmacies before filling.
